Compare the work in a solar cleaning proposal
Compare 3 parts of the proposal: cleaning scope, access arrangements and further findings. Obtain actual prices from the proposed provider for your installation.
What does the proposed clean include?
Ask the provider to describe the tasks and equipment covered by the proposal. A general service label may not explain whether the request includes cleaning only or another type of assessment. Keep any electrical or roof-related work separately identified.
Check the amount and its basis directly with the provider. Ask whether tax is included, what assumptions were used and which exclusions apply. Do not treat an old website figure or a quote for another property as the price for this installation.
How are access and changed conditions handled?
Tell the provider about known access restrictions before accepting an appointment. Ask how the scope would be reconsidered if safe working arrangements cannot be established or damaged equipment is identified. A proposed time window is not a promise that every task can proceed regardless of conditions.
Identify who can approve any additional work and how the revised proposal will be communicated. An occupant providing entry may not have the owner’s authority to accept another task. Keep the accepted change with the original scope.
Retain the completion record with the account
After attendance, compare the account with the work agreed and any approved variation. Ask for clarification of an unclear item. Keep any further assessment recommendation separate from the invoice so an unresolved concern remains visible.
